Peter Rabbit: Hide and Seek
|Genre||Hidden Object, Pre-school|
|Released||5th June 2013|
Code - Richard Davey
Graphics - Tom WaterhousePLAY
Based on the success of our previous CBeebies game Old Jack’s Boat we took the same game mechanic and applied it to the charming animated world of the Peter Rabbit TV series. Using a ‘magnify glass’ the children can peer into one of 3 scenes and discover hidden characters from the show. As they move the glass around it shows them a slightly different scene below. In the top left is the character they are meant to find and once discovered they are rewarded with a glittery animation.
Although we have always coded all our games ourselves using our own libraries, the Peter Rabbit game was created entirely with our new open source HTML5 framework Phaser. This allowed us to turn the game around in an extremely short period of time.
How to play our HTML5 games
While all of our games work in both mobile and desktop browsers a lot of the sites they are embedded in are mobile only.
To get around this either make sure you play our game using a mobile web browser or install a User Agent spoofing extension. We recommend the User-Agent Switcher for Chrome.
If you run into problems playing one of our games please contact us, we'll be only too happy to help.
